6 tips for Zen Living in 2017
We all know 2016 wasn't the strictly, a . . . great year for all involved, but you know, new year, new me, and all that. This year is going to be all about putting your positive influence out there, and living that Zen life the best you can. With all that's going on in the world, we know it can be difficult to keep a level head, so we've put some tips together for keeping those zen vibes flowing in 2017.
Staying inspired is important. So important. Don't get so caught up in the New Year you forget to keep searching. Bringing calm to your life starts where you live, and so we suggest some home inspiration courtesy of Kinfolk. While you're out there conquering 2017, remember to relax when you get home. Our favourite way to do this is in our robe, with some tea and a Netflix binge.
4. Invest in Comfort
There's nothing better when you've had a stressful day, than coming home and having somewhere luxurious and comforting to unwind. Investing in this space is vital. An easy way to do this is with cozy cushions to sink into and soft throws to wrap up in. The Knitted Throw from Jigsaw is a great starting point.
5. Open up your Space
Living in light open airy spaces feels calming on the mind, but if you live in London, it's probably not something you've got built into your flat. A quick fix for this, without knocking down walls, is the humble mirror. Mirrors make spaces look instantly bigger, as well as bouncing light around the room.
